HOST AN OIQ STAND
In 2 or 3 minutes, successfully convince a young person (and sometimes their parents!) that he or she should consider a career in engineering by informing the young person of the wide range of working environments and fields, the benefits and career opportunities of this exciting profession!
Who can get involved?
Engineers, junior engineers or candidates to the engineering profession (CEP) with enough credits in their bachelor’s degree program.
Target audience
20 to 100 people, in small groups or individually, secondary or CEGEP level, young people and their parents.
Prep time
2 hours 30 minutes = 90-minute virtual training activity (taken only once) + 2 hours to assemble and disassemble the stand.
Time investment
Travel time and stand hosting time, based on the agreement made with the school and the other volunteers.
Activity scheduling
Evenings or weekends.
