What you will actually do

As a computer engineer, you’ll analyze client needs and design systems and software to meet them.

  • Analyze client needs by assessing their systems, equipment, software, data, and computer networks.
  • Analyze the requirements of real-time applications in a variety of fields: robotics, telecommunications, medical engineering, environmental engineering, and more.
  • Design, develop, program, test, or install computer systems and software.
  • Adapt programs to ensure compatibility with clients’ current and future needs.
