EDUCATORS

ENGINEERING OUTREACH PROGRAM

Engineers are the primary ambassadors and multipliers of their profession.

In response to the many requests it receives from educators, students and schools every year, the OIQ arranges around 200 visits by volunteer representatives to secondary schools and CEGEPs annually.

The volunteer representatives are selected by the OIQ’s regional committees. One engineer on each committee volunteers to coordinate his or her colleagues’ visits to the institutions and then contacts the individual(s) who requested the visit for feedback.
